The students of Class II presented a special assembly on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal Ma’am, marking the auspicious start of the event. The assembly commenced with an inspiring Thought for the Day, setting the tone for the celebration. The children spoke about the significance of Diwali and the five days of celebration—Dhanteras, Choti Diwali, Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Bhai Dooj—sharing how each day represents devotion, gratitude, and family togetherness. Through the presentation of the five diyas—Love, Peace, Kindness, Health, and Hope—the young students conveyed the message that the light within us is what truly brightens the world. The assembly also emphasized the importance of celebrating a Green Diwali by choosing eco-friendly ways such as lighting earthen diyas, avoiding crackers, using natural colours for rangoli, and spreading happiness through thoughtful deeds. The energetic dance performances, cheerful slogans, an anti-cracker rally, a quiz, and a melodious choir added colour and enthusiasm to the celebration.
