LIBRARY
School Libraries (Infant, Junior and Senior) are open to all the students All classes
from Class I onwards are provided with at least one library period per week.
Students must keep the following in mind while using the library:
- Personal books and reading material should not be brought to the library.
- An Identity Card is essential for issuing books.
- The Identity Card is not transferable.
- Silence must be maintained in the library.
- Books that are lost, damaged or disfigured must be paid for or replaced by the borrower within a fortnight.
- Books borrowed must be returned by the due date mentioned in the book, irrespective of whether the student has a designated library period on that date.
- If a student is unable to return the book on the due date, it must be returned to the library on the next working day.
- Loss of a library book must be reported immediately to the librarian.
- Students must carry their almanac and library notebook to the library during their library period.
- Any child found damaging or defacing library books will be debarred from using the library for the rest of the academic session.
- Students should not take books out of the library without the permission of the librarian.
- A fine of Rs.3 per day per book will be charged for the overdue book.
- In case a student is on long leave, library books should be sent to the librarian by parents/guardian.
