SOUTHEAST ASIAN MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD (SEAMO) 2022

The Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad SEAMO 2022 was conducted online on September 24 and September 25, 2022 for Classes V- XII. Samyak Jain of Class VI-A brought laurels by winning a gold medal. He is the only Indian in his age group to bag the gold.
The detailed result is as follows:

NATIONAL SCHOOL SCRABBLE CHAMPIONSHIP 2022

Ekansh Arora, XI-A participated in the National School Scrabble Championship 2022. Ekansh brought laurels to the school when he finished 1st in the National Championship proving his mettle among participants belonging to 8 zones (including Bangalore, Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati) across India.
Ekansh also participated in the World Youth Scrabble Championship (WYSC). He finished 34th out of 86 participants belonging to 15 countries all across the globe.

MENTAL MATH WORLD CUP 2022

Mental Math World Cup 2022, a unique App based Online International Mental Math Competition was conducted by Live Math Competition and League where around 75 students of Classes V- VIII participated from our school. The aim of this competition was to help children develop interest in Mental Math skills in a Gamified Math environment. Out of 75 students, 19 students cleared Round 1(Qualifier Event) and participated in Grand-Finale of Mental Math World Cup 2022. The result of Grand-Finale event is as follows.

INTERNATIONAL HINDI OLYMPIAD [IHO]

The International Hindi Olympiad [IHO] took place on 18 August 2022, Thursday at D.P.S Rohini. The students of Classes V-X participated in the Olympiad and bagged several prizes in the same .

KNOWLEDGE AND AWARENESS MAPPING PLATFORM (KAMP)

Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP)is an initiative of Knowledge Alliance of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies (CSIR-NISTADS).
The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India organises National Assessment of Scientific Temperament and Aptitude (NASTA ).
The state toppers of this event for the years 2019 and 2020 - Ahilaan Saxena of XII A, Arnav Gupta of XI A and Satvik Garg of XI C (presently) were shortlisted to visit CSIR Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), Mathura Road on 8 September 2022.

NATIONAL LEVEL INTER SCHOOL STORYTELLING AND COLOURING COMPETITION 2022

Advita Bhatnagar, II-A, stood third in the 7th edition of 'Tiger- My Friend', a National Level Inter School Storytelling and Colouring Competition organised by Heritage Foundation of Art and Culture (HFAC). She was awarded a medal for her achievement.
The competition witnessed participation from over 110 schools spread across 60 Indian cities.

17TH SOUTH AND WEST ZONE, INDIA ITF TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP

It was held in Bangalore. Almost 400 participated in tournament. Aniket Agarwal declared best player of the tournament.

NATIONAL ALL ROUNDER CHAMPIONSHIP 2022

Pratyaksh Bansal, V A, secured 2nd rank in Overall All Rounder Skills at the National Level in the National All Rounder Championship conducted by KIDEX in association with NITI AAYOG. More than 2000 schools participated and more than 10000 students took part in the competition. Pratyaksh won a cash prize of Rs 7500 for his performance. DPS Rohini ranked 25th out of more than 2000 schools as a result of his achievement. Pratyaksh received Elite certificate for unlocking 20 digital activity trophies at National Level. He secured National Rank 1 in Cognitive Skills, Creativity & Imagination skills, Language & Communication skills, Physical skills, Socio economic skills.

INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMY AND ASTROPHYSICS COMPETITION 2022

The International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition is an online astronomy competition which is open to students from all over the world. The IAAC provides a unique opportunity to show knowledge and skills in astronomy. Aneesh Raman, a student of Class X - E, DPS Rohini, participated in the final round of the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition 2022 on Tuesday, 19 July 2022. He has brought laurels by winning a bronze medal. In the final round Aneesh was asked two basic, two advanced, and two research problems that required extensive knowledge of astronomy and astrophysics. He scored 9 points and was placed among the top 20% of all participants.
The following 5 students have qualified for the scholarship.

KISHORE VAIGYANIK PROTSAHAN YOJANA

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The objective of the program is to identify students with exceptional talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science as well as ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
Around 80 students of our school appeared for it. We are proud to share that 8 students have qualified for the same.
The following 5 students have qualified for the scholarship.
